Diversity Plan

keeps a Book of Mormon on his bookshelf (all other members of the management team are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints). Women in the organization are largely relegated to clerical roles, with only two women programmers and one woman in quality assurance. Beyond that, the women are technical writers and accounting staffers.

AEI does not have an affirmative action program in place, but it does have a diverse group of employees, nonetheless. One programmer, a Mormon, is confined to a wheelchair and was referred to Ken through the church. Another programmer is second-generation Japanese-American; there are two Chinese-Americans (also second generation) and a Korean-American on the staff as well.
