Focus plays a major role in the Microsoft organizational model. Every issue is explored meticulously, and until it is completed or resolved. Every activity worth doing or considering is the center of attention. If they have a problem, they don't solve it by ignoring it -- it won't go away. They stay on it until it's solved (Gates, 1998).

They are focused. And they constantly reevaluate their strengths and weaknesses. In the unlikely event that some system better than Windows were to emerge, Microsoft would still prevail because their company is built on serving customers, and not just
