The problem investigated by this study was how to make the ISO 9000 certification process more understandable and less formidable for small-sized and mid-sized firms desiring ISO 9000 certification.
The purpose of this study was to develop a set of guidelines for use in the pursuit of ISO 9000 certification. The guidelines were prepared in the form of a booklet.
The research performed for this study was limited to the development and evaluation of guidelines for use in the pursuit of ISO 9000 certification. Issues related to the content of ISO 9000 certification documentation were not addressed in this study.
