The basis for the Book of Isaiah is that there are prophecies which Christians believe created the advent of Christ as the long-awaited Messiah. The book is actually divided into three parts. The first thirty-five chapters are almost wholly prophetic, according to Bible experts. These chapters tend to pr3esent the coming of the Messiah. The next four chapters are deemed to be historical, and the last group of verses are again prophesies of the Messiah, his suffering and his being a victim.
