This opinion is an emphasis of personal rights over personal responsibility. The Christian counselor, as a Christian is not to ask "Can a Christian do. . .?" but "How can Christ be glorified?" As a counselor he is to ask not "Can I legally. . .?" but rather "How can I maintain high standards and ethics for my profession?" Both Christians and counselors need be more concerned with their responsibibilities than with rights.
