Scope or Delimitations of the Study

The present study is delimited to a review of previously published relevant literature, both theoretical and empirical in nature. It will not present the results of any further empirical investigation, and is therefore limited in its scope to what has already been identified by other researchers as contributing to the problem under examination. It is further delimited in terms of its inherent brevity and its narrow focus on the impact (as opposed to the causes) of illiteracy in the workplace.
