The first scenario posits that 130 female patrons and 150 male patrons are present at an open skating session wherein one patron will receive a free pass on the basis of random selection for a future skating session. Question 2: Probability of Selecting a Female and a Male in that Order in a Two-Draw Secnario
The events that a female patron will receive the first pass and that a male will receive the second pass are independent events because the probability that a males will be selected in each of the events is the same, as the probability that a female will be selected in each of the events is the same.
