p> The second listening activity that will be investigated for
effectiveness in elevating the oral language of sample children will be a listening activity designed to help children build a listening vocabulary. The activity selected is "Concepts of Attributes" wherein the children are taught words that describe the attributes of objects through the provision of sets of experiences that illustrate the attributes. For example, children can be taught concepts such as: rough - smooth; little - big; etc.
