Lawyers are no longer called state legal workers, but under Article 2 have been renamed, ôpersonnel who have obtained a business license for setting up a lawyerÆs practice in accordance with the law and who are providing legal services for the publicö (Gittings and Whitfort 59). Instead of being expected to protect the interests of the state, lawyers are now expected to protect ôthe legitimate rights and interests of his or her clientö under Article 27 and his ôcommercial secrets,ö but they are still expected to protect ôstate secretsö under Article 33.
