Weaknesses include too large class size, which makes it difficult for teachers to provide individual help for struggling students who, not getting the attention, tend to fall farther and farther behind. There is a varying degree of competence by teachers. Often, because of salary problems, ôgoodö teachers move on to other jobs, or higher-paying high schools or even college-level teaching assignments.
