This analysis will review different perspectives on the positive and negative impact of globalization on culture in order to shed more light on this debate.

There are many who view globalization as having a negative impact on culture, because they view it as an imposition of Western ideology upon the worldÆs cultures. Not only does the imposition of Western values, market reforms, and institutions cause opposition to globalization, but many developing nations view those nations in control of globalization as hypocritical in their behavior.
