A Personal Life Manifesto

America is under attack. It is under attack from terrorists who wish to destroy our way of life. It is under attack from liberal judges who legislate from the bench. It is under attack from a liberal media that mocks government, family, and God. It is under attack from homosexuals trying to undermine the sanctity of marriage. It is under attack from liberal economists who undermine economic growth through tax increases to fuel social program spending. It is under attack from liberals who believe it is right to destroy life by advocating abortion. It is also under attack from educators trying to position science as more valid than scripture. As Doug Thompson (1) writes in ôThe Conservative Manifesto,ö ôThe most dangerous threat to this country, to our very way of life, festers here at home.ö

All of these attacks demand a conservative political manifesto that seeks to reinforce and protect the American way of life. This manifesto must include a number of provisions to undermine these attacks on the American way of life. First and foremost, no laws should be passed in the United States that violate the will of God. This includes laws on abortion that tolerate pro choice. This includes laws that undermine the sanctity of marriage as a contract only between a man and a woman. This includes laws that violate GodÆs will by maintaining that creationism is a ômyth.ö This includes laws that undermine the right of federal and state government buildings to proudly display the Ten Commandments on which western cultureÆs laws are based. This also includes laws that maintain it is a violation of separation of church and state to permit public school children to recite the Pledge of Allegiance in class.

The attempt to adjudicate God as being apart from American society and its way of life will have a deleterious impact on the spiritual and moral fabric of this country. A majority of Americans admit to their
