SonyÆs organization is undergoing drastic changes as a result of its putting Howard Stringerùa non-Japaneseùinto the top position. The old ôfamily businessö atmosphere that Sony is known for will disappear rapidly under Stringer, who is making radical changes to compensate for SonyÆs losses in the consumer-electronics segment over the past two years (Hall).
