Marijuana is used in some cultures for religious purposes as well as for recreational use. The modern-day use of cannabis involves several ways of utilizing the drug. It can be smoked, either in cigarette form or in a pipe, water pipe, or ôshottieö; taken orally by mixing with alcohol or fats, or inhaled by the use of a vaporizer (ôCannabis (drug)ö). Cannabis use is prevalent in many countries throughout the world, most notably where its use has been decriminalized, as in the Netherlands. Amsterdam has been named ôThe Medical Marijuana Holy Landáô for its easy access to ôsoftö drugs like marijuana, and many people using the drug for medical reasons order it or its seeds by mail or Internet
