p of stakeholders consisted of the ESP teachers at PAAET. A total of 30 ESP teachers were identified as potential participants in the study. However, six ESP teachers were abroad at the time of the study involved in their own higher education programs. This left a sample of 24 ESP teachers, each of whom agreed to participate in the study and to complete the questionnaire specifically designed for ESP teachers.
In addition, a general interview approach was used to collect data from ESP teachers. The purpose of the teachersÆ interview was to investigate their views and attitudes regarding the teaching of ESP, to evaluate their awareness of the different roles and tasks that ESP imposes on them, and to gain an insight into the different problems that Kuwaiti ESP teachers might encounter.
