The authors reported that causes of youth crime are multiple and therefore the treatment and prevention of this problem must consider multiple systems as well. Since MST is a therapy that addresses family and other correlates of antisocial behavior which are related to youth violence, it is concluded that findings related to MST participation are related to these causes.
