Catholicism's Key Elements

e Bible, are the seven sacraments: Baptism, Communion, Confirmation, Matrimony, Holy Orders, Reconciliation (commonly known as confession), and the anointing of the sick. Sacraments are signs, meaning that what is happening on Earth reflects something that is happening between God and the person involved. In Reconciliation, for example, the person is confessing sins and being forgiven by both God and the priest, who represents the community of the Church, at the same time. This is necessary because the person's relationship with both parties is harmed through sin, which is why confessing your sins to God
