I feel that I can improve my performance in this regard and one of the ways to do it is to take more risks and to experiment more with projects and programs that could lead to school improvement. I also have to work to understand that mistakes and failures are part of this process and use them as learning opportunities instead of reasons to feel disappointed. This is an important element of challenging the process which I feel would greatly improve my ability to challenge the process.
4. I also feel that I need to improve when it comes to the exemplary leadership process of 'enabling others to act.' In this regard, Kouzes (2003) has noted that a good leader is especially good at collaborating and building spirited teams to get the job done. I would like to improve my communication skills a bit toward the goal of being able to more strongly and passionately involve others in reaching goals as I think this would help me to 'get the job done' in a more effective and more efficient manner.
