In order to understand the uniqueness of the existential school of thought, it is now necessary to clarify the political philosophy of existentialism. This is somewhat problematic because there is no one school of existentialism. Many philosophers who are labelled "existentialists" never heard of the word because they wrote before the term was coined. Many others dispel the label, claiming that there political philosophies have little in common with other existentialists.
