While this opinion might be a tad extreme, many factors are related to the current financial and economic crisis plaguing Argentina, which was the 10th wealthiest nation in 1913 and is now the world’s 36th wealthiest nation (Eiras, et al, 1). This analysis will review the multiple factors that are related to the Argentine financial and economic crisis, from poor policies to IMF involvement. A concluding section will address the most pressing problems facing Argentina for recovery and a variety of recommendations aimed at fostering economic recovery and stability.
