According to a Harvard University study, “Immigrants have become a much stronger part of the American home-buying market than at any time in our history. Homeownership has doubled in the last decade among immigrants between the ages of 25 and 34—from 25 percent to almost 55 percent. Notably, homeownership has mushroomed among Hispanics by more than 50 percent since 1980 and has nearly doubled among Asians"”(Lambro 2).
