Tendency to lose required objects such as school books for completing tasks;

High distractibility by surrounding environment; and

Exhibition of forgetful behavior (in Wood, 2001).

Furthermore, they must also exhibit at least six out of the nine symptoms of hyperactivity-impulsivity in the DSM-IV-R:

Inability to sit quietly without fidgeting or squirming in the seat;

Tendency to leave the seat inappropriately in the classroom sett
