y do well to consider whether antitrust activities have been conducted within a labor context rather than a producer context as Pleasure suggests. This would give additional support to Pleasure's proposition that there is a widely held, but unsupported, perception that there is a "labor" antitrust exemption. The exemption, he suggests, is properly applied both to management and labor.
Additional research should also be conducted on the role of monopsonies in today's global economy. Independent contractors can perform work for companies located around the globe by using technological innovations such as the Internet, and so the power of the single buyer may be reduced as contractor are able to find multiple buyers which otherwise would have been impossible due to logistical concerns.
