Following this, the second stage of the phenomenological process, the investigatory stage, will take place. This involves researching the lived experience of individuals with an in depth procedure such as one-on-one interviews. In this study, one-on-one interviews will be used to gather data and discussions about the lived experiences of participants. The sample will be chosen according to pre-established guidelines; inclusion criteria are diabetes diagnosis for at least one year and ages 14 - 18 years.
