Reproductive Health Services was also a watershed in a second way because after this, both sides changed tactics and moved from the courtroom to the electoral process to elect candidates who agreed with their position at both state and national levels. More cases on abortion came to the Supreme Court in the 1990s (Calabresi, 1996). Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pennsylvania v. Casey was 1992 case which saw the Supreme Court again allowing early-term abortions (just like Roe v. Wade) before a fetus is "viable" outside pregnancy.
