Such delays and other service problems are now viewed by many corporations as major areas of concern for cost control (Bradley, 1989). Service problems, thus, are a strong argument for corporate aviation growth in the 1990s. Airline companies claim that the service situation is improving. Some independent analysts, however, are less certain about the future of airline service levels. All of these factors may be used as support for projections of corporate aviation growth.

The continued competitive pricing by the passenger air lines has been a major factor in the retarded use by corporations of companyowned aircraft (Bradley, 1989). There are some signs that this practice is beginning to wane; however, significant change is not anticipated before the mid1990s.
