According to its by-laws, a member is any person who volunteers time or is involved in the activities of S.A.F.E., and who subscribes to its purposes and philosophy. Although no dues are required, there are two types of membership: non-voting, supporting members, who may attend board meetings; and board of directors members who are chosen by the board.
