There is a particularly strong and effective section in this book about the death penalty. Kaminsky begins the chapter by describing how other societies deal quickly and efficiently with criminals that commit horrendous crimes. In general, they execute them and the public applauds that execution. Kaminsky noted that right after the murder of her son she wished that she lived in a country like China or Saudi Arabia where they would have acted quickly to eliminate the murderers.
