This is an even more compelling argument when we consider the negative impact the corruption of public officials has on the nation in moral terms, especially on the youth of the nation. Every time a TV news program or newspaper article reports police corruption, it cannot result in anything but a further breakdown in the moral structure of the individual and of the society as a whole.
