This leads Ogilvy to conclude that agencies have to make great ads, yet he is not convinced that spending money is the best way to go about creating a successful campaign: "I have no research to prove it, but I suspect that there is a negative correlation between the money spent on producing commercials and their power to sell products" (p. 113).

There is no doubt in Ogilvy's mind that an advertising agency will be more apt to prosper if it can land several corporate accounts. He devotes an entire chapter to "advertising corporations" since he has had to come to grips with the complexities of working with a hierarchy and still being able to please everyone.
