COMPARISON OF ACUTE ACL STABILITY TESTS

niscal and/or collateral ligament lesions are to be included in the research while those with PCL involvement are to be eliminated from the study.

All subjects will be selected from two hospitals which have already provided the researcher with permission to conduct the study. Specifically, subjects will be recruited from: (1) the "KAT" General Hospital's Athletic Injuries Department; and

(2) the Athens Medical Private Hospital. Both of these hospitals are in Athens, Greece.

Recruitment procedures will involve contacting doctors handling athletic injury cases and asking them for a list of those patients who meet all subject selection criteria, including age criteria, the availability of arthroscopically-proven injury data, the fact that the injury occurred less than three weeks prior to the scheduling of surgery and the other inclusion criteria just listed. Once doctors provide their lists, patients will be contacted by the researcher who will ask them to volunteer to participate in the study.
