and 0.78 was evidenced for the LLD group relative to narration, which was markedly higher than the 3-group mean of 0.57 (p. 5). For the mean length of communication units (i.e., morphemes), the findings of this study revealed that the LLD group evidenced a mean of 6.54 overall for conversation and narration, versus 7.82 for the AM group and 5.89 for the MLCU group. The mean of 5.84 was evidenced for the LLD group as regards conversation communication breakdowns, which was under the 3-group mean of 6.46 for this category, and 7.24 was evidenced for the LLD group relative to narration, which was somewhat higher than the 3-group mean of 7.03 (p. 5).
