value scale of the customer is very low. People do not care, for instance, how long a company has been around as much as they care about price. Typically, the majority of Apple customers were more quality-sensitive than price-sensitive, and the computer quickly built a loyal fan base.

However, that fan base wasn't enough to corner the larger share of the market that was being focused on those customers who were more price sensitive.
