Hillary Clinton uses her own family, while she was growing up, as an example of the type of families which are needed and function for the nurturing and support of their children. She speaks of her mother and father's devotion to the children and the giving of their "time, energy, and money to their children" and the sacrifices they made to give their children a better life.
