Once moral law has been abandoned, utter chaos is likely. The solution that antiabortion advocates see is to "bring[] positive law in line with the moral law" (430). That helps explain the militant advocacy for restrictions on legal abortions as well as a constitutional amendment outlawing abortion for any reason.
