The benefits of few talking are that there is not a cacophony of voices that confuse the message and that leaders emerge that people can identify with and follow. A concern, though, is that the voices that are not being heard need to be heard. A problem with few voices is that if the few voices do not speak for the many, needs and issues can become submerged. There is potential to use the concept to clarify and distill many voices into a few, but there is also a potential to mask problems and stifle voices that should be heard.
