It was significant that this man was so well-versed in the practical ins and outs of running a small business. He explained to me the pros and cons of various forms of legal organization--whether the venture should be a sole proprietorship, partnership, or corporation. We explored for a few minutes concerns about copyrights, trademarks and service marks.
