More miracles, parables and teachings are included here, especially the laborers in the vineyard, the expulsion of the money-lenders from the Temple, and the wine to be used at the wedding feast. The Passion scenes are also more thorough in their presentation and detailed.

Luke and John are more stylistically innovative. Luke includes the lyrical rendering of the Annunciation, the Visitation, and the Magnificat. In his preaching Jesus speaks of the Good Samaritan, Martha and Mary, and the narrow gate. In his inclusion of the widow's mite, Luke reminds the reader that each must give according to his ability. John is more interested in worship and the sacraments. Beginning with a majestic invocation of Jesus as Logos, John is seen speaking with Nicodemus, multiplying the loaves, and proclaiming Himself to be the Son of God. The details of his passion and suffering are more abundantly and lyrically rendered. His garments are divided in fulfillment of the prophecies. After his death, Jesus makes an appearance to his apostles by entering through a locked door.

John concludes with the account of doubting Thomas.

Acts begins with the early Christians questioning whether it is time for the Lord to restore the kingdom to Israel. As Jesus announces that they will receive the Holy Spirit, he is seen ascending into heaven. At the time of the Pentecost, the Holy Spirit arrives, bringing with Him the gift of tongues. Peter begins to preach to the crowds telling them that they must first be baptized. As Peter begins to gather the early converts together, he is given the power to heal a lame man. The Sanhedrin arrest Peter and John for preaching about Jesus' resurrection from the dead.
