1. Did high school counselors provide the information necessary for high school seniors to make an effective college selection decision?
2. Did high school counselors provided the informed guidance necessary for high school seniors to make an effective college selection decision?
3. What was the overall quality of the college selection guidance provided to students while they were attending in high school?
The problem investigated in this study is important for a number of reasons, two of which are particularly significant. First, the study illustrates the application of educational research in an important pragmatic context which should be of interest to a wide audience.
