Employee perceptions were measured with respect to four factors associated with organizational communications at the Sadie G. Mays Memorial Nursing Home. The response distributions in relation to each of these four factors are summarized in Table 2, which may be found on page 4. As the data presented in Table 2 indicate, overall satisfaction with organizational communications at the institution characterizes the perceptions of only onethird of the employees at the Sadie G. Mays Memorial Nursing Home. With respect to organizational communications, the only factor perceived satisfactorily by as many as onehalf of the institution's employees is the practice of notifying employees of changes that may affect their jobs.
