I would fit the definition of the tourist who travels away from their normal residential region for a temporary period (one week in this case), with a major expectation of satisfying leisure, pleasure and recreational needs which I perceive to be more intriguing than those in Sydney (in this case Bali’s). I am able to become a tourist because of non-psychological factors, like I have two weeks vacation, no obligations on my time during that period, and I have an excess of spending capital to make the trip. Psychologically speaking, I am making the trip because Bali represents conditions which I know will satisfy my expectations and provide an enjoyable and enriching experience during my leisure time.
