omen and infamous for his insubordination, becomes aware of the plot when the 24 year-old daughter of the Secretary of Agriculture, whom Jake has been sleeping with, is kidnapped by Bin-Laden’s forces because they fear she will reveal their plot. Jake is able to uncover the plot, but, because of his past behavior and sexual involvement with the Secretary’s daughter, no one in the press, NSA or White House will believe him. The address is seen as critical to the President’s chances of surviving a recent campaign contribution scandal that has rocked the White House and shaken public confidence in the nation’s Highest Office. An attractive female reporter, Tara Fields, is the only one who believes Jake, but, because she is a recovering crack addict, having become hooked while doing a story on the drug, her credibility is mocked by authorities. Together, she and Jake must tangle with domestic and international enemies alike, in order to stop Bin-Laden’s plan and save the country from disaster. Before the film’s shattering climax, they discover more about themselves and each other, falling deeply in love.

DIALOGUE: FILM No. 1 - STATE OF THE UNI(N

The following scene occurs between Jake and Bin-Laden, after Jake is captured by his enemy forces on the morning of the day which the address is scheduled.

A burning sun oppresses the earth. Landscape is flat, barren. A dust cloud rises in the distance as a Jeep moving rapidly moves closer to the cave, driving through the rough shrubbery covering its entrance.

We get a close-up of the hooded driver and his henchman. They are the two men who kidnapped Jake in the previous scene.

The jeep drives at a slower pace through what appears to be a sumptuous Oasis-like underground Palace. It travels through long, exotic hallways filled with waterfalls, wild birds, gold decoration, the works. Finally it comes to a stop in front of a huge gold statue of Allah. When th...
