nutshell understanding of Hinduism, we can use the analogy of the fruit tree. The roots of the tree are the Sanskrit texts the Veda and the Upanishads. The trunk of the tree represents the different spiritual experiences of the sages and saints that form the basis of the religion and anchor it in reality. The branches of the fruit tree can be likened to different theological traditions. Finally, the fruit of the tree that comes in a variety of shapes and sizes is representative of different sects and subsects. Thus, we can see that the all inclusive nature of Hindu Dharma that provides for the enormous diversity and interconnectedness of all beings with nature and the Godhead.

Even the Hindu Dharma numerous deities that are worshipped are part of the supreme Brahma Godhead. The Supreme Being or God is the individual form of the Ultimate Reality.
