Because I run a company and am primarily interested in economics, I was convinced attending a respected university in the US would most improve my chances for knowledge and learning. Because of personal circumstances beyond my control, all of my applications were late. Though my original application to Yale was returned, I was able to gain admission to Northwestern University. While being late was the most influential factor in my attending Northwestern, I am grateful that the University considered me a worthy candidate.
What alternative to transferring to Yale are you considering?
Personal, academic and work experience have taught me the valuable of alternative plans or strategies. While Yale is my primary choice of schools under consideration, I have chosen Columbia University as an alternate.
