Thus, it cannot be certain that they will support her in following what treatment regimen is prescribed for her condition once she returns home.

Finally, her tearful and sad demeanor provide evidence that her self-concept is under a great deal of strain.

Regarding second level assessment (see: Roy, 1984), the focal stimuli consist of the immediate injury and the stress associated with both the pain and her concerns regarding her children's well-being
