The ride is not the only part of the attraction that takes advantage of Disney technology. Upon entering the building which houses the attraction, guests find themselves in the middle of an Ewok Village of treetop homes. The "launch" building interior is a futuristic spaceport which faintly resembles today's modern airports, complete with boarding instructions for those traveling with androids and promotions of other tours. Two characters from the "Star Wars" movies, R2-D2 and C-3PO, are on hand as spaceport employees.
