However, the goal of most activities is to ensure that the clients have a rich and fulfilling life, and the emphasis is therefore on hobbies and education. An exercise program can be developed for individual clients in conjunction with their primary care physician, or clients can participate in the group exercise program.
The facility also employs a total of eight orderlies on a part-time basis. These individuals are responsible for day to day operations of the facilities, including driving the van to and from various locations, assisting the residents with their needs, and providing assistance to the chef, activities director and facility director, as needed. Orderlies also do the laundry (on-site) and clean the residents' rooms.
