H1-H4: first ANOVA, used since same group is the source for all analysis: Pre and post-outcomes will be compared for dependent variables (psychiatric symptomology, level of functioning, employment level, and level of age appropriate activity). Use of ordinal or levels of employment and activity allow for use of ANOVA and simplifies design.
H5-H6: second ANOVA: Hispanics and Caucasians compared for service use (hours provided, hours used) and outcomes (psychiatric symptoms, etc).
H7-H11: multiple correlation analysis: relationship between cultural. . . to dependent variables.
The independent variables for the study are as follows: treatment at King County Mental Health, Chemical Abuse and Dependency Services Division; and use of biopsychosocial, cultural formulation and/or culturally sensitive service integration.
