Technitrol will make certain that the terms are correct and that it can meet the delivery date.
If any terms are incorrect, Technitrol will contact the buyer and require that the L/C be amended. The buyer will be told that the order will not be processed or shipped until the required amendment is made and a copy of that amendment has been sent by the issuing bank electronically to the advising or confirming bank and presented to Technitrol for approval.
Once Technitrol determines the L/C is acceptable, the shipment will take place.
Once the shipment occurs, a designated employee at Technitrol will gather the required documents and present them to the advising bank for presentation to the confirming bank.
The U.S. based confirming bank will review the documentation submitted by Technitrol and if no errors such as missing documentation are found, then confirming bank will forward the required supporting documentation to the issuing bank.
