The Letter of Credit must be in English
The Letter of Credit should be payable against the presentation of the following documents only:
- Commercial invoice in three (3) copies
- Packing list in three (3) copies
- Clean on Board Ocean Bills of Lading
consigned to the order of the issuing
bank and marked freight collect
The Letter of Credit (L/C) must state that the freight forwarder must be acceptable to the exporter since the freight forwarder will be required to provide certain documentation necessary to submit the L/C for payment
